Heidi Deschamps received a doctorate degree in Counseling and Counseling Education from Idaho State University in 2006. Given the deeply interconnected nature of body and mind, Heidi completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Pacific Yoga in 2013.
Too many people see themselves through the narrow lens of “what is wrong.” Heidi’s therapeutic approach aims to change that focus, so that each client can see their mind, their body, and their relationships in more broad and dynamic ways.
Trust and safety are the cornerstones of healing, and Heidi endeavors to ensure that her office is a refuge where every client can feel accepted, encouraged and challenged to see their own capacities for resilience and growth, even in very difficult circumstances. Within the framework of Interpersonal Neurobiology and the recent discoveries made in neuroscience of how awareness and attention can shape the brain, each client is supported towards increased integration and healing.
The therapy Heidi provides is not a one-size-fits-all, but an individualized and unique approach that suits the values, life experience, and world view of each client. Incorporating interventions from Systems Theory, Person Centered, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral, and Existential Therapies, Heidi tailors the approach of therapy to best address the specific challenges of the client.
Heidi also provides weekly integrative movement and mindful awareness sessions, intended to facilitate increased integration in the brain and support clients’ overall wellbeing. Many of these same strategies can be included in individual therapy to address a broad range of issues.
In her time away from the office, Heidi enjoys spending time with her partner and two children, in outdoor activities like paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and camping. She also loves to express her creative side through cooking, painting, and decorative art. She finds solitude and time in nature a vital and integral aspect of her own well-being.

I am from Yakima, WA and graduated from Selah High school. I attended Washington State University and majored in Kinesiology, became a personal trainer and trained the men’s rugby team, graduating in 2012 (go cougs!) I received my DPT (doctorate of physical therapy) from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2015.
I have worked as a physical therapist in most settings but really enjoy treating orthopedic injuries and the pelvic floor. I have worked in outpatient orthopedics for 6 years and women’s health for 2.5 years in Redding, California. I began my own practice called HER Pelvic Health Physical Therapy to address pelvic floor dysfunction in women, as this is a big need.
I am so excited to return to my home state with my husband and two toddlers to be closer to family and continue practicing as an orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist. I am so excited to serve this community, provide a specialized need in pelvic health, reduce pain and dysfunction, improve mobility, return to sports and activities, and improve the quality of life for my patients.

I believe that every aspect of a person – mind, body, and spirit – benefits from receiving a therapeutic massage. My mission is to promote stress relief, improve relaxation and support reduction in pain through therapeutic massage as well as optimize general health and peace of mind.
I support individual client needs, tailoring unique therapeutic techniques where indicated. I enjoy incorporating various modalities of massage such as myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, reflexology, Swedish stretches, hot stones, and Lomi Lomi into various massage sessions.
I grew up in Tri-Cities, WA, where I attended Washington State University. I continued my education in health, nursing, and languages, obtaining a Bachelor in Nursing Science and later a License in Massage Therapy. It excites me to serve my community, encourage growth, provide wellness resources, and optimize quality of life through massage therapy.
